About me

With a background in both consultancy and corporate leadership, I’ve worked internationally and across industries, often on complex, high stakes projects requiring trust, discretion and clear thinking.

After Consultancy, I spent over 12 years at BAE Systems, a FTSE 30 company, where I held senior roles across Strategy, Business Development, Industrial Partnerships and later, Executive Recruitment. I worked on international expansion and business transformation before moving into a Group-level role leading senior executive attraction and advising the Executive Committee on senior internal and external talent.

I’ve spent much of my career supporting senior leaders and teams on thorny issues. At the core of my work, then and now, has been listening well, asking thought provoking questions and creating the conditions for people to think at their best.

During my time with BAE Systems I relocated several times for roles in the UAE, Bahrain and later Spain and am familiar with the challenges of moving solo, with a family, in the lead role and in support of a spouse - each with their stressors and nuances.

It was through my own experience of coaching, during a leadership programme with INSEAD that I came to value the insight it provides. That experience led me to train formally as an Executive and Business Coach in 2019.

I’m accredited with the International Coaching Federation and have undertaken a range of training in other methodologies including, Nancy Kline’s 'Thinking Environment', Coaching for Grief, Trauma and Change and Creativity Coaching with Eric Maisel.

I coach pro bono for a UK veterans’ organisation, RFS and lead a professional women's network in the UAE, part of a large Finance focused network committed to forging strong communities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. â€‹

'Gabriella became a trusted thinking partner to me and my team as a result of her ability to positively challenge and provoke thought in others. She is attentive, humble and sets high standards. It is no surprise to me that this skillset makes her a successful Coach.'
